What MakeThisNext is

MakeThisNext (the app, we) reads public YouTube data and tells you which video to make next, with a title, a thumbnail, a description, tags and the views to expect. It is made and run by Wes Frank. These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use it. Using it means you accept them, and the privacy policy, which says what we keep about you.

YouTube

The app reads YouTube data through YouTube API Services. By using it you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy applies to what Google does with your data. You may set up a channel in the app only if it is yours or you have its owner's permission. You can take the app's access to your YouTube Studio away at any time, in the app or on Google's security settings page; the privacy policy says how. MakeThisNext is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.

Your account

  • Give a real email address, and keep your password to yourself. What is done with your account is yours to answer for.
  • One account per person, and one channel per account unless the app says otherwise.
  • You must be 13 or older.

What the app makes for you

Ideas, titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnail images and estimates are suggestions, made by software from public data. They are yours to use, change or ignore. What you publish is your decision and your responsibility: that it is accurate, that you have the rights to what is in it, and that it follows YouTube's rules. An estimate of views is an estimate. It is not a promise, and no result is guaranteed.

Fair use of the app

  • Do not copy the app's data out in bulk, resell it, or feed it to another service.
  • Do not drive the app with scripts or bots. Use it as a person, through its pages.
  • Do not try to get around its limits, break into it, or read other people's data.
  • Do not use it for a channel that is not yours to use it for.

Paying

MakeThisNext costs nothing while it is in early access. If paid plans come, their price and their terms are shown to you before you pay anything, and these terms stay as they are otherwise.

Ending

You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account, which deletes your data as the privacy policy says. We may close an account that breaks these terms, or one that has not been used for a year, and we may change the app or stop running it. Where we can, we say so ahead of time, by email.

What we do not promise

The app is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and its data fresh, but we do not promise that it is always available, always right, or that any idea it gives will work for your channel. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for what you lose by using it or by not being able to use it, and our liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. A change that matters is sent to the address on your account before it takes effect, and using the app after that means you accept the new terms.
